I was asked to fly back with a team to New York to help in the rescue efforts and to get out on the streets to minister to those who lived in Manhattan. So I went. When I think of what I saw and did and those faces of Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Sanitation Workers, Crane operators, and all the different teams of people that were apart of the efforts, I get emotional and still feel the pain to my heart. I can even remember smelling the sut in the air and seeing particles still falling from the sky from the workers digging and pulling out those who were burried below. (too much to write about at the moment). All that is to say, in total I flew 3 different times to New York over that year to give my hand a help of doing some good where such evil had happened.
Why do I write this? Because America is still under attack today. Ever since I came back from 911 journey, I feel such a burden to pray for this nation.God says that He will hear, if we humble ourselves and pray to Him.
God reminds me often about 911. How? Simple by the clock. Countless times I have looked at the clock and it will read 9:11, and I know that is my que: it's time to pray. It's been happening ever since my time in New York.
I finally told my kids about this and they always remind me when its time to pray for they love to shout out now: mom it's 9:11.
What once brought me fear and anguish, now brings me to my knees in prayer.
Please join with me to pray for our nation.
It's high time we cry out to God for deliverance.
Amen!!!
Amen.
