Do I drink coffee? a bit. Do I love lattes? yes (gingerbread are my abolute favorite)
Do I prefer tea or coffee? I can't answer that it's too tough a question and one that makes me anxious because preferring one over the other is quite a complicated things. LOL
Okay so why this tea picture? Well for one, Isn't is cute how they package all these boxes. I love it. It makes me happy.
For seconds, if you are looking for an alternate to coffee you might enjoy these.
I will give you the run down on these teas and then I will tell you a story about my tea journey. LOL
CHOCOLATE MINT by Trader Joes
I just had this last night and I went crazy for it. Yes, crazy for it.
You see it was late at night and I was so needing a chocolate taste but without the calories at that hour (do you get me). I wanted to eat the chocolate chips cookies I made and slurp it down with a mean Hot Chocolate, but I worried just a bit about how my jeans would fit in the morning. (They are already snugg in this Holiday Season and I don't want to buy another size)
So I grabbed this tea bag in hopes to help the craving.
Never did I thought it would work, but guess what: I am drinking it again this morning LOL It's just so good.
All I did was brew, steep, add a bit of creamer (Don't judge) and drink drink drink.
You might just like it.
VANILLA CINNAMON
Okay this has been my everyday tea so that I don't go out and buy my Chai Tea Lattes. Although, they are the least expensive Latte of the season, my wallet prefers that I brew it right in the home. It has just enough of what I am looking for and I double bag it to get a stronger impact. (I know these things are hard to disclose but I have too)
CANDY CANE GREEN TEA
Okay for you who are peppermint loving green tea adoring people, you might just try this one.
I look forward to buying it every year and boy it taste wonderful on a cold night. My daughter had a thought to add a candy cane to it. Good ideas come in small packages.
My Tea Journey
Well, I had a coffee obsession for years. Yes, years. I mean not one trip to the coffee shop in the day I am saying 2-3. Okay. (Back in the day I was sucker for Diedrich's Sumatra.) Oh my my my that's really all I fed my body. I know it was terribly wonderful and terribly horrible at the same time. lol
But as my coffee journey was lovely, I had already been exposed to tea from England and I like that too (I had a friend give me boxes of Tently Tea and he was my hero). Anyway, it wasn't until I lived in London that I really started to drink tea more and more. Then when I got back to America and it was hard to find a good brew, so I turned to my obsession again: coffee. (now only once a day) Well, it contiuned on and on until I got married but then it suddenly haulted with my first pregancy. I was back to Decaff Tea. I was happy to sacrifice for my precious package inside but something was still craving the bold coffee flavor. So from Coffee to Tea to Tea to Coffee I've been every since. That's my story in a nut shell, but right now I am more in the Tea state for reason I choose not to disclose. But the love for both are still present with me and I fear they will never leave. LOL
