Just look at my little one. He is so excited to bring you this good news.
(Not really, he was happy to have a successful photo bombing moment in my picture. Anyway, with a look like that I just had to leave it just the way it was.)
The Spatula Trick.
You probably already do it, you probably already know it, you probably don't have an issue with it but it becomes a bit topic here in the Berry Kitchen.
What it is? Spatula Trick
When you are making cupcakes,
Did you know that by using a spatula to scrape out your bowl you can get sometimes a whole entire cupcake out of the mix?
When you are making cookies,
Did you know that by using a spatula to scrape out your bowl you can get another cookie or two out of the dough?
When making pancakes,
Did you know that by using a spatula to scrape out your bowl you can get a few more pancakes out of the batter?
When making frosting,
Did you know that by using a spatial to scrape out your bowl you can get a few more dollops of icing from your ingredients?
So did you? Did you know?
Well, try it and you will see just what I am talking about.
If you really want to squeeze out every bit of goodness, get yourself in the habit of using that spatula.
Confession.
I didn't learn this method because I wanted the extra's, I learned it from my husband that comes around and starts putting a spatula to everything I make. He is the one that insists we use the spatula trick. It makes "him" so happy to show me all the EXTRAS he's gotten out of the mix.
Honestly, it used to urk me a bit. I sit there watching him scrape every bit out of my dough. At first, I was like "Don't touch my dough dude." But the more he did it, the more and more I realized how quickly I could stretch my creations.
Without him knowing, I tried the method yesterday with my cup cake batter. What was the result?
How did my husband get so smart?!?
I know he'd be proud.
Thanks, Honey for the Spatula Trick, Now lets enjoy.
Blessings
Warning, the kids might not like this trick after all because it really doesn't leave them too much yum to lick after your done.
