So I am not Columbus, Lewis nor Clark, nor Ferdinand or Peter, yet I started to embark on an uncharted journey for my family. I can't say that I will discover something profound, or something noble of a slot in the history book, but I will say that I am on a new course. My nerves are still spiking up at the thought of leaving my comfort zone, yet strangely there is a rest that God is with me. I left the boat of familiarity to navigate by the heavens again. This means I will be ever looking to God for direction and to open doors for me and lead me through places He wants me to go. It was hard to make this decision, but once made, I have to commit the next steps to God. My grandma has always encouraged with Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."
My Encouragement: Try something new. Explore a new direction. Eat a new item on the menu. Take a step of making the change you desire to see. I think you won't regret trying just not trying.
