It was a moment that materialized right before me.
This morning as I was reading in my devotions, I looked up from my Bible to see the pile of activities beckoning my name. (Yes the picture says it all). I have my yoga mat (though I do Pilates lol), the games to play with kids, my kids math drills, my christmas wrapping station, some scattered presents under our Charlie Brown tree, and there before me the Nativity Scene. I looked up and thought, boy all these things are calling for my attention. Play with me, Wrap me, Work out with me, and Tidy me all up. But then as peaceful as it was, There the Bible sat on my lap.
I was Relaxed, hanging out with God, enjoying the Peace of His Word and the wonder of Jesus' Wisdom tucked away in His Word.
I realized that I was just like Mary was sitting and adoring Jesus just like they did over 2,000 years ago.
Isn't that so beautiful that we too can still Come and Adore Him.
We have the opportunity to sit at His Feet and Worship Him as much as we want.
So today, don't miss out on Adoring Jesus is some way today before the craziness kicks in.
As the wise men sought him for days, let's keep our hearts on seeking Him everyday.
It really starts the days off in the "Star" Direction. "He will guide us..." Ps 27
