- Develop your personal prayer time
- An idea is to create a journal of Rejoicing, Requesting, Remembering, Response
- Rejoicing-start with Praising God for all the wonderful attributes and actions that He is His character) that is revealed to us in His Word as well as what you have seen Him to be in your life.
- Requesting- Asking God what for what is on your heart for your life. Praying for the needs of the people you are surrounded by and even lives that you will meet (another idea is to write down names of people you meet on the street and keep praying for them)
- Remembering- Time of Thanksgiving recognizing that God is in Control and that He has kept every promise that He has created for us to freely enjoy. Thank Him for all He has done and thank Him for what He is about to do. I have a friend that always says, "thank you in advance for what you are going to do".
- Response- Time of Waiting on the Lord (Maybe God will put something on your heart (scripture, song, vision, or thought). It's a time of you just to be in awe of God, listening for Him and then responding to what He puts on your heart. As I was in my personal devotion the other day I read a scripture that said "cloth us with the power from on high." In response to that phrase I just began to say it over and over and eventually it turned into a song unto the Lord.
- Give yourself enough time to STOP and LISTEN and RESPOND It's such a beautify thing.
- Happy Prayer time to you.
