I think a real great way to see God and put life in proper perspective is to be in His creation. There are many verses that speak of biomes in this Earth. (I just learned this word from my kiddos Ecosystem's book, I hope I am using it right :) Do I get an A for effort? Humm I think so).
Anyway, being around nature is a great way to see God's handiwork and His awesome artistic engineering. For me see this cause Praise to Raise in my hearts.
Jesus even said in Matthew 6, "Look at the birds of the air" in another verse He said, "Consider the lilies.." directing our attention to those things He sustains to encourage us of the promises He's made towards us His children.
Why look at the birds?...Your Heavenly Father feeds them; He will feed you. (they neither sow nor reap or gather into barns;Your Heavenly father feeds them, Are you not of more value then they? Matt 6:26)
Why Consider the Lilies? "So why do you worry about clothing?...Will He not much more clothe you?"(Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these, Now if God clothes the grass of the field, which is today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith"Matthew 6:28-30).
In just these two verses alone, creation is looked upon as a source of encouragement. Encouragement to remind us that we are so valuable to God. If He is taking care of creation, how much more will he take care of His children.
Shed the worry, shed the anxieties, shed the useless cares and concerns, and be reminded that God is in control. He is Greater. SO much Greater. In fact, He is the greatest thing that has ever exisited and HE my friend is taking care of you.
Look to those birds, and say "I am more valuable then those".
Look to the flowers and say, "He is providing for me."
Here's another passage to encourage you to be in God's creation because Creation Speaks of God.
"The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard
There line And their words to the end of the world
has gone out through all the earth" Psalm 19:1-4
