Day 26-Almost there

Well today we payed our first mortgage payment.
I know it's not the funnest thing to do, but we did it. It's a testimony to God's provision and faithfulness to our family. Seriously, we are thankful.
Anyway, here what happened today.

I had to bake. I just had to relax and perfume my house with yummy banana bread. Yummmy.

I will wear make up soon. I will wear cute clothes soon too. lol

It was more about finding those paint colors.
The kids were great today and we are excited to try more samples.
I just pray that I find my house color soooonnnnnnn.
The girls are going with seafoam and misty mauve.
My son is going for periscope blue and sandcastle or bone as an accent.
I still don't know my room nor the house.
I am a bit nervous.
Choosing paint has been so hard for me. I love so many but not when they hit my walls.
Okay, so once our errands were done, we headed to the house to feed Nana.
She'd been working since morning so we need to make sure she got the proper nutrition. (my mom can go all day working working and working with barely any stops for food. Wonder Women)

So I got a lesson in how woman can remove nails out of wood. Seeing that men have more power, woman can get that strength by using our weight. LOL Never knew my weight would come in handy.
So you put the hammer in between the wood (I used a crow bar just to get it started then replaced it with a hammer). Flip it to the back and press with all your weight down. This should open the gap on the two wood pieces. Then just remove.

So I removed 1 nail to my moms 5. Just to say how good she is at doing this.

Here what I get to hear as I am removing wall paper.

For my, Today, I was determined to finish the wall paper removal. I just have one more wall. Horray.

But after around 6.5 hours, I just couldn't be finished today.
Now I know why people leave the room when I start talking about wall paper removal, it's been a crazy hard task; my body aches, my mind is mush, and yet it still hangs on the wall.
Tomorrow I am gonna get you. (maybe the day after, my body is throbbing.)

I will get a manicure too

I was energized by the Snickers bite my mom gave to me. We definately needed chocolate.
And that Eddie got to the house.

Thankfully, Eddie came to the house right after work and worked worked and worked.

Although, my mom was bound and determined to finish her project. But after 14 hours, it didn't happen.
(Guess where I get my tenacity from)
We tried. We tried hard. We tried our best, and still we came up a bit short today.
But that is okay.
We are closer to ever being ready for paint and flooring.
