Well,Eddie and my mom worked till 11pm last night. No they didn't get it finished, but getting close.
A friend sent this scripture and I so needed it today. Running so hard for so long, I just needed another reminder that God will strengthen us to finish.
First, it was to get the house smelling sweet for all the hard workers.

A hardy crepe breakfast for the work day ahead.
Then it was time to bake once again...
Then it was time to bake once again...
It's a Chocolate Cake kinda morning. Yummmy
So I didn't know a thing about paint before this journey started.
There is soooo much to know about it.
Yesterday, we went to the paint store and got
Stain Blocker Primer Paint (for ceilings and places where you need to stop the absorption of the paint)
and
Primer (to prep the walls to get a layer of protection from walls to actual paint.
Then we talked about VOC's which are the fumes from the paint.
There are low, to no VOC so that the smell takes less time to air out from the house.
This is good because our sons asthma issues, so we are choosing as much NO VOC's as possible.
Then there are the types of paints.
Flat-for ceilings and baseboards.
Eggshells-for bedroom and living room and common areas rooms.
Semi gloss-for kitchens and bathrooms
High gloss- I don't know what for
and other stores provide other choices.
Velvet?...
It's all up to you.

Thanks Ben not just for your support and laughter, but buying us all lunch. What a blessing!
Then we realized that the paint store was going to close at 3:30 and there special on paint was ending....Oh no. We jetted in the car and raced to the store.
We got in and out at this time.
We got in and out at this time.
Phew. We just made it.
Then it was back to the house.
Bob got up in the attic and filled in the missing insulation. Eddie making sure all was well.

Finishing Eddie's office area.
More priming for the entire family.
Then it was time to clean up and clear up...

Can you see all the primer on our faces? Didn't know it wasn't water soluble. lol
Tonight for all the hard work the kids did, we treated them to Yogurtland.
Blessings.
