Today was a packing up at the house day. The kids toy room is the biggest challenge. My kids have been so blessed throughout the years, and it shows by the amount of boxes we are using to pack up the toys. Yes, I am trying to purge, but those toys are so fun: I am a toy hoarder. My husband can't stand it. I don't really blame him, but I just have a hard time saying goodbye. So for now, we will continue to box away, and maybe at the other home, we will only bring inside what we really play with. :) That's a good strategy I think? Don't you?
Well, being that it's been 33 days since we started this fixer upper project, I just felt or need rather, to take my kids to a place where they could play and I could relax. So we headed to a ranch where kids roam wild and free.
Here's what they did.

Then it was off to the house. When we got there, my mom had already done what I needed to do: put out the trash and prepare my son's room for painting. Wow. What a nice surprise!!! Another surprise thought, was my daughter's birthday present finally made it to the house. It took 3 weeks for our mail from the condo to the new house to finally be redirected.
Better late than never.

That was it.
Eddie was at a wedding rehearsal for a wedding he's officiating, so it was just quiet on the home front.
Blessings.
