"Most of all, let love guide your life, for then the whole church will stay together in perfect harmony."TLB
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.NKJ
Mama: First of all, I am a fan of King James and New King James Versions of the Bible when I am teaching and studying ; however, I also enjoy comparing Bible translations just to see how others put the verses. Sometimes, you can understand the concepts a bit more easily when comparing. Sometimes, the translations, in my opinion, can steer you in a different direction, so you just have to keep everything in context.
Annalee: When I heard, "Let love Guide your life," I liked the translation because it's just simple, short, and gets to the point. I like the commands. I like these easy little points that are cool. Another versions says "knit together in love". It's cool that love is like a braid, so strong, and wrapped up in it and you can conquer the world with love.
I like the simple phrases that really catch your attention.

Mama: Yeah, like something you could paint and hang on a wall, or put on a coffee mug, or make a t-shirt out of. I also like the scriptures that makes you think and are catchy phrases. So much so that We have many picture frames, mugs and clothing items with these scriptures on them.
Although Annalee likes the TLB, Truth be told, I really like the NKJ because it says to "Put on Love". I am thinking of the clothing that God wants us to wear in our actions, behaviors, and lifestyles. When I think of it in this context, it challenges me to be actively aware of what and how I am responding to life. It's what people will notice when they watch my life.
It brings me to the powerful abilities of choice.
Love should be the motivation for why we do things. Read 1 Cor 13 and you'll see just how much God desires our motivation to be in love.
Also, God has given us a free will, where He allows us to make your choices in this life. In addition, God makes it very clear what He desires for us and what it means live a life that actually pleases Him. And even on top of that, He fills us with the Power of the Holy Spirit for us to live in that way. So, it's like getting a gift and having the batteries included. If He says to let love guide your life, He means it and He'll give you the love you need to do this.
Annalee: Yeah
Mama: So Love should be our Anthem. Right?
Annalee: Yip. I like it.
Mama: Ellie, what do you think of the verse?
Ellie: That's cool.
Blessings.
