Show me Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
Ps 25:4-5
Teach me Your paths.

For You are the God of my salvation;

Ps 25:4-5
Do you like when someone says, Hey I have something to show you, or tell you or something to help you?
I especially like it when my kids want to show me something they've done. It just grows the relationship deeper. I can look at their art work and validate their talents and creativity. It's part of the relationship that we learn from each other.
I also enjoy teaching my kids new things, and showing them places they've never gone before. I love seeing there eyes get excited about seeing new things. It's fun. It grows our relationship deeper because we are sharing and doing things together.
How much more can we learn and experience with our God!!!
One of the most beautiful things about our relationship with God is that God wants a relationship with us. He tells us to Ask, Seek, and Search Him out.
I think many times we can forget that God wants to be apart of our life. How often do we just dilly dally through the day trying to do this life on our own measure, our own way, and our own strength.
That's why I love this Psalm.
It shows the heart of the Psalmist that they wanted to know what God wanted. They wanted God to be an active part of there everyday life and to lead them where God wanted them to go.
Are we pleading with God for His ways, His paths, His truths?
Or are we still trying to do things our way?
Look at the actions words in this psalm:
Show
Teach (2)
Lead
Why?
For God is our salvation.
Once we've surrendered to God, He is become our eternal salvation as our rescuer through out our day.
God cares for you. He cares about all the details of your life. He wants to lead you in places you could have never gone. He wants to teach you great and mighty things about Himself and the world He created. He wants to Show you great and might things because He is the Great I AM. Knowing everything and holding our very breath in His Hands. Nothing is too small to bring to Him and there is no problem too large He can't handle. Nothing is impossible for God.
Knowing this, how should we respond?
Be those who call and wait upon the Lord for everything.
Let's ask God to show us His way in our day.
Let's ask Him to teach us His paths so that we walk as He intends us to walk.
Let's ask Him to lead us in truth so that our lives are filled with the good things of the Lord.
God is a personal, interactive, communicative God; so wait for His answers today.
How do you know if He is speaking?
1. His Word will confirm to your heart
2. He will put impressing on your heart
3. He will confirm those impressions
4. He'll use people to confirm
5. Usually, the outcome of what He says will be blessed. There are times where we don't get the know the outcome.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD of God.
Does your heart crave to know what God knows?
Get to know your God deeper.
Spend time with Him.
Be a seeker of God today, He's waiting to be gracious to you.
Blessings
