Is it wrong to think you have the cutest kiddos in the world? Is it wrong to think they are the smartest? Is wrong to just get tons of satisfaction watching your kiddos excel in their areas? I don't.
I think as moms we have bragging rights or is it writs (however is grammatically right) for our children. Either we just love our kiddos so much and have huge hearts for them, or it really is reality that our kiddos "ROCK".
I have to say today was one of those days. Today, I saw two of my kiddos do things that made me just want to shout, "My kiddos are Awesome."
For my girly girl, she wrote her sentences in the most beautiful handwriting. This has been a battle of a lifetime, but today without any resisting, She did it. Even daddy commented about her page when he saw it. 2,4,6, 8, You are doing great. Okay, so much for the ra ra hip boom ba, she's a cheerleader so I guess it relates.
Then on to my son, well he scored his first touch down today. Hooray. Especially after last week experience, on his first run, he made it so close to the goal line but didn't know how far to run. So instead of running through to the goal, he ran laterally and kept looking back at us to tell him where to go. Well, this week he told me, "mom, I know where to go" and he did. T-O-U-C-H D-O-W-N Touchdown, touch down, do it again. Good job buddy, you are a fast learner.
Okay, that spells my bragging rights for the night.
Don't be afraid to tell your kiddos how impressed you are of them. They need their buckets full of compliments, especially before they venture into the pressures of this world.
For you mom's, God is your Ra Ra Team. He is cheering you on saying, YOU CAN DO IT.
Be encouraged God is your biggest fan.
