Confessions: Appliance Aggravation.
Okay, tell me, do you ever get mad at your appliances?
Do you ever catch yourself talking to your appliances like they're listening?
Okay, maybe not you but today I did.
This week as been a week of sickness in the house.
I woke up early (like 1 am, 3 am, and 6am).
But the final time I decided to stay awake because my kids were all sleeping soundly.
It was a moment that I needed.
It was a quiet breath that I had to take.
It was the song of silence that lifted my spirits.
Until, I turned my attention to the Keurig.
I went over to just get a warm cup of lemon water to start my detox routine,
and everything was going well until....
It needed more water.
I poured the water in and bam
boy the biggest noise of all resounded int the room: it was draining the water to fill my cup.
Have you heard that noise is silence? Oh my.....
I stood at a distance looking at the Kerri then looking down the hall.
"Are the kids hearing this???" Shock and confused said I.
"Are the kids going to wake up????? Frustrated said I.
"Am I going to loose my quiet moment???? A bit disgruntled said I.
"You NOISY KEURIG????" said I yelling to myself.
"What are you doing? My kids are asleep?"aggravated said I.
But then I looked back at the hallway.
There were no heads being awaken.
There was still quietness after the noise.
The Keurig had finished it's noise.
And there on my Keurig was my wonderfully warm lemon water waiting for me
to sip and swallow to my content.
"Sorry, Keurig," said I to myself.
"It's been a tough week," said I.
I sat down now thankful for my little appliance that always helps me
find my way.
"Awee," my moment resurrected.
So I might of lost it a little but after all, I am sleep deprived.
Get rest so you keep your appliances your friend.
Blessings.
