I love that song and video.
Wouldn't you agree that can be how our mornings go, mommas? I know I've been through it. I remember one morning, I got up so early to get my devotion in and Suddenly, one of the babies wakes up. "Lord didn't you want me to spend time with you?" I thought.
Of course, but He also understands when you just can't get to it.
Boy, moms really have to learn to be flexible and to readjust; it's survival. If we don't we can brake, easily I might add.
You are not alone if you feel this way. No Mama.
Moms I would advice you, if you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and a bit jaded, take some time to "Self Care". What I mean by this is do something healthy for you. We are constantly helping and serving to better and protect our families; we need to put ourselves in that equation as well.
This title "Self Care" was given to me by a fellow mother whose kids were already grown and in college. I found it fascinating that she even needed to do things that was healthy for herself even after her children were grown.
Just goes to show you that we need this time for ourselves at all stages of our lives, not just as mothers but women.
I encourage you to take time for yourself, I like to say
"Better ME Better THEM".
Enjoy the Journey
