Does this scene look familiar to you mom's out there?
Think of all the gear that we carry everyday for our little ones.
I will finish this later; husband calling, kiddos hungry, and I am ready for fresh air.
Okay, I am back.
Seriously, if you want to have a laugh or a cry start to notice all the stuff that a mother is carrying.
For me my load that day was this: chairs, beach toys, beach towels, sunscreen, floatation devises, diapers, lunch, umbrella, and of course my purse (Thankfully, my baby didn't want to be picked up). Wow, no wonder I felt exhausted just getting to the sand.
Anyway, Mom's out there, more power to you. May your get a day at the spa to help balance all this out. We mom don't only carry the external loads, we carry them inside as well. The care we carry for our kiddos runs deep. Real Deep. In fact, deeper than anything else I know. The good thing is that we don't have to carry these ourselves. "Casting all your care on Him; for He Cares for you" (I Peter 5:7) If you are burdened down today, Pray "Jesus Help" and He is right there to help. He says to you today, "Come to me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls" (Matt 11:28-29) bThe more we come to Him and talk to Him about these things, the more we will find He is more than sufficient to handle and help in every situation of our lives.
