Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Read that verse over again.
It could even be a phrase.
No matter if it's one verse, one phrase, or one single word, Stop and think
about it for just a minute.
2. Why do you think you like it?
Have you been experiencing something in your life that resonated with this verse?
3. That's the Word speaking to you.
4. Pray and Thank God for this revelation and ask Him to make it clear how He wants to use it in your life.
Of course I love Verse 3, but during this read verse 6 spoke to me.
"For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,"...
I had to stop there. In todays News Headliners and all that's going on,
I've been doing a lot of praying.
Praying that God would hear, would see, and would continue to protect
When I read this today, I thought, "Thank you God you know our way."
God knows, and God has a plan.
I must just trust in Him and remember that He Knows.
It comforted me, I hope that knowledge can comfort you.
