To the Chief Musician. On an eight-stringed harp.fn A Psalm of David.
Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases!
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
Psa 12:2
They speak idly everyone with his neighbor;
With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
Psa 12:3
May the LORD cut off all flattering lips,
And the tongue that speaks proud things,
Psa 12:4
Who have said,
“With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are our own;
Who is lord over us?”
Psa 12:5
“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the LORD;
“I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”
Psa 12:6
The words of the LORD are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,
Purified seven times.
Psa 12:7
You shall keep them, O LORD,
You shall preserve them from this generation forever.
Psa 12:8
The wicked prowl on every side,
When vileness is exalted among the sons of men

Your Thoughts
1.Looking over this Psalm, was there a particular verse that you liked?
Read that verse over again.
It could even be a phrase.
No matter if it's one verse, one phrase, or one single word, Stop and think
about it for just a minute.
2. Why do you think you like it?
Have you been experiencing something in your life that resonated with this verse?
Possibly, Right?
3. That's the Word speaking to you.
4. Pray and Thank God for this revelation and ask Him to make it clear how He wants to use it in your life

My Thoughts
Psa 12:6
The words of the LORD are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,
Purified seven times.
It seems so much of today's society, at least in California, people are concerned with purity of body. I can't believe how many people are on some kind of Detox Diet or using alternative recipes and even going through various physical exercises to become clean in mind and health.What we do on these physical levels do benefit us for a time. But what can we be doing to receive lasting results?I believe, it's Hiding the Word of God in our hearts and minds.
God's Word is so pure and so right there is nothing on Earth like it.
Diamonds go through rigorous purification process however their benefits are just beauty. God's Word is active and alive and the purification benefits are so vast to count, far beyond just being a beautiful things.
If you want to meditate, meditate on His Word. If you want a detoxing mentally, read His word. If you want to strengthen your heart, memorize and hide His Word in your heart. It's eternal beauty. Those who live lives that have been lived for Jesus are glowing. When the outward man begins to perish the inner man is still being renewed and shines the Light of the Lord.
Are you still not convinced? Let me give you a few scriptures about the Word of God.
The Power of the Word
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light Genesis 1:3
(Imagine just speaking the Word light and Light is created. WOW)
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (God's Word penetrates deep within our hearts)
The Faithfulness of the Word
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jotor one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled Matthew 5:18
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it Isaiah 55:11
The Benefits of the Word of God
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11
I like the last verse here, "and in keeping them there is great reward." There is great benefits to keeping the Word of God. I know I live better when I follow the principles and guidelines within the Word. I am a better person and make better decisions.
God's Word is so pure so right so true. The more we read and practice His desire for us the more we will be like the author.
Don't let anyone tell you that God's Word isn't relevant. Don't let anyone tell you that the Word of God has been changed or mistranslated. Don't be deceived.
The Word of God is purified and is trustworthy is has been and it always will; it endures through all generations.
Blessings
