A Psalm of David.
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Psa 29:2
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psa 29:3
The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
Psa 29:4
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
Psa 29:5
The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
Psa 29:6
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
Psa 29:7
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
Psa 29:8
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
Psa 29:9
The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
Psa 29:10
The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
Psa 29:11
The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Your Thoughts
1.Looking over this Psalm, was there a particular verse that you liked?
Read that verse over again.
It could even be a phrase.
No matter if it's one verse, one phrase, or one single word, Stop and think
about it for just a minute.
2. Why do you think you like it?
Have you been experiencing something in your life that resonated with this verse?
Possibly, Right?
3. That's the Word speaking to you.
4. Pray and Thank God for this revelation and ask Him to make it clear how He wants to use it in your life

My Thoughts
Have you ever wondered what you could give God?
The first thing that comes to my mind is that you can give Him your surrendered heart. If you are reading this post and have never allowed Jesus' forgiveness and love to cleanse and forgive your sin then that's the very thing you can give Him. You see God had made it His priority to heal humanity of the wages of sin. Sin is the very deterrent between you and God from having a harmonious relationship.Through dieting and raising on the cross, Jesus made the Only way possible to attaining that kind of reconciliation with God. If you haven't allowed Jesus to come and cleanse your heart, I encourage you, ask Him. He is mighty to save. He is knocking on your heart today. Open it to Him and let Him come in and clean your heart today.
The second thing I could think of to give God is praise and worship. Just as verse 2 says to do. Worship Him. Think about it. On the night of the nativity, we see the shepherds rushing to see this Jesus the angles had proclaimed to them in the field. The very thing that they did when they got there was Worship the King. Then later when the wise men came, they too fell down in worship. Worship is what you and I can give back to God for all that He has done.
Simply Praise Him.
Finally, for me to give Him all our cares and worries and all things about everyday. I like to wake up and surrender my day to Him. Saying, "Lord today is yours. However, you want to direct it, I am open for your leading."
As we commit our hearts, lives and daily activities to the Lord may we break forth in praise.
Now in keeping with the Psalm here, it would appear that David is going through a storm. There is just something about the power and awesomeness that storms bring. Have you ever been through one?
In those moments, I can't help but cry out to the Lord. It is as if the power of the storm reminds me how much greater power God has because He controls the storm.
I can just picture David out on his veranda watching the storm pass through and crying with a loud voice Verse 1"Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength". I picture him just full of zeal as he shouts at the storm. Ha ha (I tend to see life as a movie) I can just see it.
God is powerful and full of glory. Let's give Him praise through the most fierce of storms in life.
Then as the storm passes and the quiet is heard, we can say like David
"The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace."
Peace will be yours today.
Blessings.
