To the Chief Musician. Set to “Mahalath.” A Contemplationfnof David.
The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none who does good.
Psa 53:2
God looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
Psa 53:3
Every one of them has turned aside;
They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one.
Psa 53:4
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And do not call upon God?
Psa 53:5
There they are in great fear
Where no fear was,
For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you;
You have put them to shame,
Because God has despised them.
Psa 53:6
Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When God brings back the captivity of His people,
Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none who does good.

Your Thoughts
1.Looking over this Psalm, was there a particular verse that you liked?
Read that verse over again.
It could even be a phrase.
No matter if it's one verse, one phrase, or one single word, Stop and think
about it for just a minute.
2. Why do you think you like it?
Have you been experiencing something in your life that resonated with this verse?
Possibly, Right?
3. That's the Word speaking to you. Maybe write it down. Turn it into a prayer and/or praise.
4. Pray and Thank God for this revelation and ask Him to make it clear how He wants to use it in your life.
5. Share what God spoke to you with someone. Let others be blessed too.

My Thoughts
The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none who does good.
It's unfortunate that there seems to be a growing number of people that try to convince others that there is no God.
Who are these people? Many are filling the professors seats at School, Colleges and Universities. They sit there in seats of knowledge and lead gullible children away. It's very sad.
I met a guy that is in his 90's and he still has yet to believe in a God. He attributes all his early success to his "cleverness" and has no recognition of the Savior. I asked Him, "How did you get that knowledge in the first place?" He smiled. I told him, "God designed you and gave you those abilities." He still hasn't received that. I walked away and said to myself, "It's not cleverness it's foolishness."
So sad. He is so close to the end and yet still resists God. However, I'm not giving up on him, every time I see him, I love on him and share Gospel truths. I really like him, but I am really sad for where he'll end up if He doesn't surrender.
You know I like what JVernon McGee had to say. "Every word for God here is Elohyim" expressing the creative aspect of God. For those who don't believe in Creation, they are missing out. Genesis is properly named the beginning for a reason. It all started with God's desire to create. This is foundational to understanding our dependency on the Lord and our need for a Savior. Leave out creation and you have an Earth filled with beings that have no home, no purpose, and no moral obligation to God just Self.
Not a pretty sight.
Anyway, I hope you aren't a fool today. I hope you realize that God is real. You may not know everything about Him, but believing there is a God is one step closer to the truth. God is real. His name is Jesus. He has a plan for your life. He created you. He loves you.
Hebrews 1:10
“You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Amen. You are the worlds of God's hands. You are special and a treasure.
Blessings.
