[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.]]
Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
Psa 70:2
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
Psa 70:3
Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
Psa 70:4
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
Psa 70:5
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Your Thoughts
1.Looking over this Psalm, was there a particular verse that you liked?
Read that verse over again.
It could even be a phrase.
No matter if it's one verse, one phrase, or one single word, Stop and think
about it for just a minute.
2. Why do you think you like it?
Have you been experiencing something in your life that resonated with this verse?
Possibly, Right?
3. That's the Word speaking to you. Maybe write it down. Turn it into a prayer and/or praise.
4. Pray and Thank God for this revelation and ask Him to make it clear how He wants to use it in your life.
5. Share what God spoke to you with someone. Let others be blessed too.

My Thoughts
It's funny how life goes. The last Psalm 69 took some time to get through, yet this Psalm you could just rush by so fast. Sometimes we are put in moments of contemplation and other times we are just grabbing a quick bit in our devotions and running for the day. We do both and that's okay.
I found myself reading this so fast and not really having time to digest any of it. So I am going to look back over and see what nugget I can find in here.
Lol
The Verse first is all about HURRY GOD.Make haste means to hurry.
I guess there are time that call for the HURRY. I just had to laugh.
Anyway, this a Psalm of remembrance. What are we to be remembering here?
Well, do you remember back to Psalm 40?
Probably not because I didn't. But actually this Ps 70 is a repeat of Psalm 40:13-17.
I love this. Why?
Because we often need to be reminded of what God has done.
How often to we pray for things, God answers, we move on and then forget what He did?
You don't think so?
Well, just think last year what did you pray, 2 years ago, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.... Honestly, I've forgotten a lot of my prayers, yet one thing remains God has been faithful through it all.
Maybe this is a good time to remember something that God has already done for us. This can encourage us to go forward in life and to be strengthened.
Verse 1-5
This is just a reminder that God is our deliverer. No matter what others are doing to you are saying about you, God will be your deliverer. I like that. God is so good.
What is to be our response?
Verse 4
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
Magnify God today in your heart and your mind. Let Him be bigger than your problem or concerns.
I remember singing these lyrics in a song back in my youthful days. Let God be Magnified. I just can't find it in youtube. I have to laugh, I watched some corney videos looking for it.
Anyway, we are to say continually, "Let God be magnified."
Maybe you can write a song with these lyrics. We just might need a modern version of this Psalm.
Verse 5
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Here we are Poor and Needy.
God is our deliver and helper.
Remember our God. Remember that to Him a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years a day. He is outside of time.
Sometime our answers can be delayed but continue to wait for them. Remember when Daniel prayed and the answer came weeks later?
God will answer in perfect timing.
I am just glad I can pray that He answers quickly. Sometimes we need a quick answer and if you need it today, just ask God to make haste to help. He hears.
Blessings.
